AbstractO trabalho tem como objetivo estudar as recentes técnicas de Engenharia de Sistemas, iniciadas há algumas décadas pela NASA devido à quantidade e complexidade de trabalhos a serem realizados e a sua aplicação no Programa NANOSATC-BR, Desenvolvimento de CubeSats. É demonstrado o quanto estas técnicas de Engenharia de Sistemas são benéficas para a Gestão de projetos complexos, que no caso do Programa NANOSATC-BR, abrange dois grandes Projetos: Projeto NANOSATC-BR1 - CubeSat 1U e Projeto NANOSATC-BR2 - CubeSat 2U. O Programa possui como primeiro objetivo o desenvolvimento e capacitação de Recursos Humanos, trabalhando com nanossatélites de padrão CubeSat (cada unidade - 1U - possui 100mm de aresta e aproximadamente 1,33 Kg de massa). O Programa tem suporte e apoio da Agência Espacial Brasileira (AEB). ABSTRACT: This work has the main objective the study of the most recent Systems Engineering techniques, which were developed by NASA a few decades ago in order to manage complex projects, and its applicability to the NANOSATC-BR, CubeSats Development Program. It is shown the different benefits of these Project Management techniques when applied to high complexity Programs, such as the NANOSATC-BR Program, which consists in two main projects, NANOSATC-BR1Project - 1U CubeSat and NANOSATC-BR2Project - 2U CubeSat. These projects aims Capacity Building Program, to develop scientific instrumentation and, simultaneously, the design development, construction, qualification and launch of national scientific nanosatellites in a CubeSats standards (cube shape with 100 mm of edge and near to 1,33kg of mass, per unit - 1U). This Program is sponsored and supported by the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB).
